Service+ were appointed by a housing association to investigate a fault where the 2 boilers had been isolated due to safety issues.Issue
Boiler 1 was completely shut down and we needed to investigate the reasons for this. The client wanted us to repair, if possible, the issue to allow the heating to be re-established for their tenants.Solution
After stripping down both boilers we proceeded to clean all elements of the boilers. Boiler 2 issue was solved by replacing the gas valve and seals.Boiler 1 was capped at the gas supply as it was in an unsafe condition. We then ordered a replacement boiler and involved a flue company to integrate the new boiler into the system.
